309 Punk Project is the only artist run nonprofit organization in the South committed solely to archiving the creative efforts of the punk culture of our region. It is our primary goal to serve the local and regional community as archive, residency, and venue for divergent practices in DIY culture and contemporary art that critically examines the sociopolitical cultural moment that is shaping all our lives.

Science is fun, and we believe that learning science should be fun too! INERTIA’s programs are designed to teach elementary students science through fun, hands-on group projects that will increase their skills in their class work.

Our mission is to end the suicide epidemic one wellness retreat at a time. SHIELDUS strives to break the stigma of mental health amongst Law-Enforcement through a holistic approach that will meet their overall wellness needs.
STEM Story
STEM Story is TV show for PBS, that features profiles of female professionals in STEM careers who are doing meaningful work and changing the world. Why is this important? There aren’t enough women in STEM jobs. Women make us 48% of the US workforce but only represent 27% of the STEM professionals.

Gulf Coast Energy Academy
Gulf Coast Energy Network (GCEN) advocates for energy-efficiency policies that minimize costs to all sectors of the economy and that lessen greenhouse gas emissions and their impact on global climate. Based in Pensacola, Florida, GCEN brings a wealth of educational and technical experience to all aspects of energy and water efficiency, alternative energy, and sustainable design in the Northwest Florida Region.
Coming Out in the South
Julie Still-Rolin is hitting the road with the Coming Out in the South Tour where she will speak at events for organizations who seek to understand the experiences of coming out in the South. Julie’s speaking points include overcoming obstacles such as being disowned, being discriminated against, and living with society’s negative feelings about homosexuality.
Ciclovia Pensacola
Ciclovia—Pensacola Open Streets is a unique event in downtown Pensacola which closes streets to motorized traffic and opens them up for the entire community to be active and have fun. This event encourages and promotes safe physical activity while interacting with others and exploring the downtown area.
